Formula DONIC FD3 3rd Generation (Formula Highspeed)

DONIC’s expert rubber-sheet developers had correctly forecast that the speed-glue ban that was introduced on August 1, 2008, would accelerate rubber development enormously. The completely newly developed rubber sheets of generation 2010, which DONIC calls Formula DONIC FD3 (3rd generation), brings table tennis without speed gluing to a totally different level. There is now no reason to bemoan the loss of speed glue. Formula DONIC FD3 has it all: speed, sound, feel, and precision, leaving nothing more to be desired.

A special feature of all the new rubber sheets is the exceptionally precise feel. The rubber sheets respond immediately to your action; the ball lands exactly where it is supposed to. With such a wide range of rubber sheets available, every type of player will find the perfect rubber sheet for their playing style.

The new Acuda line of S1, S2, S3, and the Coppa line of X1 Turbo, X1, X2, X3 have been completely redeveloped from top sheet to sponge, with many distinctive advantages, all of them intrinsic and permanently built-in.

The Spin-Oriented Line: Acuda S1, S2, S3

With Acuda, the focus is on maximizing spin. This line has a maximum flight arc with the take-off angle from the blade generally the steepest. Of course, these are very taut, direct, and fast rubber sheets, depending on the grading S1, S2, and S3. Acuda S1 is the fastest of the Acuda rubber sheets. Acuda rubber sheets are suitable for a very aggressive game with the focus on maximum spin. The sponge has been cleverly designed with more open pores for this type of game.

The Speed-Oriented Line: Coppa X1 Turbo, X1, X2, X3

The Coppa line tends to be slightly softer. The Coppa rubber sheets aren’t quite as taut and come very close to the classic playing feel with the emphasis on speed. The spin arc is very high and topspin shots can easily be played from all positions, especially fom half-distance and far away from the table. Coppa X1 Turbo and X1, like Acuda S1, are specially designed for attackers, but tend to be even faster than Acuda S1.

The New Soft Ones: as Soft as Never Before

Players who used to like the sound and feel of soft rubber sheets with speed glue prior to the glue ban can now reignite the joy and sensation with the new line of soft rubber sheets. Acuda S2 and S3 and Coppa X2 and X3 all belong to this new line. The softest versions are the S3 and X3 with the loudest sound and slightly less speed. The S2 and X2 are fractionally less soft with slightly less sound, but an increase in speed. With all versions, loop and counterloop can be played very easily and with fantastic control. These softer rubber sheets in the Acuda and Coppa lines are a technical breakthrough because rubber sheets as soft as these have never been so fast and enjoyable to play with.

Plus for All

Lifetime Plus. For all rubber sheets in the Acuda and Coppa lines, the life of the rubber sheet has been considerably extended. After extensive testing, DONIC players believe that the number of playing hours has been increased by something like 50% or more.
Catapult Plus. The catapult effect of the new large-pored sponge provides more precision, even in difficult positions.
Tension Plus. Improved inner tension gives the feeling of even more speed-glue energy.
