Defeating a Lobber

Every once in a while, you play someone who is an exceptional lobber. To defeat him, my advice is for you to hit the ball off the bounce in a firm controlled manner. This will cause a lot of problems for him since the ball returns very quickly not giving him much time to set up. You can also throw in a drop shot from time to time to keep him off balance. Both drop shots and off the bounce forehands will help you to have a better chance of winning.
