More Pushing

Pushing is a strength that most people overlook. Pushes can be a very good weapon for your game. Most people think of a push as being a passive shot that you would use as a last resort. This is not how it should be at all. A good push will almost always set you up for an attack. When I practice, I always spend at least ten minutes practicing pushes at the beginning. Pushes are especially effective when you are playing a person that likes to smash a lot, and not really spin the ball. It also works well when the opponent likes to loop a lot on one wing because you can move them out of position with a good push, and then make an easy block or loop to finish the point.
