Profile

Max is twelve years old and started playing table tennis when he was seven in China. Max was born in Chengdu, China. His family moved to Toronto in the summer of 2005. He continued to practice and play in Toronto under the tutelage of the current national coach, Enlong Wang. Max has learned a lot of basic skills and competition strategy from Coach Wang.

Max is an offensive looper and likes to attack as often as possible. Currently he practices five to six times per week. He won Gold Medals at the 2007 Canadian National Championships and Silver Medals at the 2007 Canada Cup in Laval. In 2008, Max had another big win when he became the champion of the 2008 Ontario Winter Games.

Max loves table tennis. His goal is to play in the Olympic Games representing Canada in the near future.
