Profile

Tahl Leibovitz has been representing the U.S.A. since the 1995 Czech Open Paralympic Championships. Tahl has won medals in virtually every Paralympic table tennis category he has competed in. Tahl has won nine gold medals at the Paralympic Pan American Games since 2003, winning a gold medal in every event he entered. Tahl also won medals at the Paralympic Games, Paralympic U.S. Open, German Open Paralympic Championships, and World Disabled Championship.

Tahl recently won the singles and doubles at the 2008 New York State Championships. He also participated in the 2008 Collegiate National Championships, winning the Men’s Doubles and finishing second in the Men’s Singles. In 2004, Tahl made the U.S. Olympic Doubles Qualifying Team with doubles partner and coach Sean O’Neill. Tahl was named USOC/USATT Male Athlete of the Year for 2006.

Tahl is currently preparing for the upcoming Paralympic Games in Beijing.
