Xavier ThérienProfileXavier started playing table tennis at age six in a summer camp. He was immediately addicted and started training more competitively at the junior level. At sixteen years old, he moved to Ottawa in order to practice at the National Center. Three years later, Xavier spent one year in France training in a club near Paris (Fontenay-sous-bois); this was a great experience. He came back to Canada and studied at Ottawa University while training with the National Team. Now Xavier is working and continuing to practice and compete regularly. His crowning achievements are 2005 North American Doubles Champion, Bronze Medalist at the 2004 Commonwealth Championships in Doubles, and Quebec Champion in 2005–2008. Xavier lives in Gatineau, Quebec. Best Achievements- 2008 Canadian Championships (Halifax, Nova Scotia): Team (Quebec City) and Men’s Doubles (with Pierre-Luc Hinse) Champion
