ProfileAlex started playing at the age of six. First he saw his brother playing, and he thought it was fun, so he joined. As soon as Alex joined the “fun” training, his mom saw potential in Alex and took him to serious training. Now Alex practices with his brother Justen down in the basement during the school year. He also trains in many places along with his brother, including Taiwan, China, and many more foreign countries during the summer. Alex has participated in every national tournament his brother Justen has played in. And even some international ones such as Safir and a world junior circuit in Canada. Alex is the 2007 U.S. Open U-13 Boys’ Singles and U-4200 Doubles Champions, 2006 St. Louis Gateway Open U-2300 and Open Singles Champions, and twice U.S. National Boys’ Elementary School Finalist. During tournaments, Alex is coached by Sean O’Neill and his mother Sheri Xu. Playing Tips[Who We Are. Equipment Top Players Use. Playing Tips.] |
