Yang is sixteen years old and trains four to five times per week (up to twelve hours per week), depending on school. As the most dominant junior player at the 2007 Canadian National Championships, his goal is to defend his Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Team titles. Yang lives in Montreal, Quebec.
