Our Company

The Table Tennis Pioneers is owned and operated by Mitchell Rothfleisch and Lyne Desjardins. Both are former table tennis champions who wanted to share their knowledge of the sport that they love. They also wanted to build a company that offered everyone the highest-quality equipment, the largest selection, and the finest service.

The company was founded in 1989 and is located in Laval, Canada, (Laval is just outside of Montreal). The company has grown steadily over the years and continues to reach new heights of popularity and success in North America. In 2000, the company was featured in an article in the Montreal Gazette.

The company has always put a premium on hiring the best staff to meet the needs of its growing customer base. We are very proud of our current staff of thirteen dedicated and professional people.

In addition to Mitch and Lyne, other members of our staff are also players or former players: Sean O’Neill (USA Sales and Marketing Director) and Thierry Verviers (Webmaster). Besides being very knowledgeable table tennis experts, they provide unmatched Web expertise and sales/marketing experience.

They are backed by a dedicated customer service crew consisting of Angie (Customer Service Department Manager) and Lisa. They provide efficient, quick, and courteous service to all of our customers.

Guy and Jean handle our very organized shipping and warehouse department. Our accounting/invoicing department of Rachel, Anastasia, and Denise is overseen by Lyne.
